The plan is an international child-centered community development organization, working with the sponsored children in the developing countries, their families, communities, organization, and government. Plan values and works for the rights of children. Plan international offices are in 75 countries. The sponsorship communications are complying with business rules, in order to achieve full quality, engaging, and efficient opportunities to build relationships and personal connections between sponsored children/families and sponsors. The overall of the project is to aware of sponsored children, their families, and community people in the sponsorship business and to maintain the smooth and meaningful relationship between the sponsored children/families/community and sponsors.

Goal and Objectives, expected results and outputs:

The overall of the project is to aware the sponsored children, their families, and community people in the sponsorship business and to maintain a smooth and meaningful relationship between the sponsored children/families/community and sponsors.

  • Ultimate Outcome 1: Children families and communities build meaningful relationship with sponsors to improve quality of their lives and fulfil the 9 commitments maintaining minimum 95% KPI.

  • Intermediate outcome 1.1: Social mobilizer have developed capacity and trained to community volunteers, facilitating the SC and families for their meaningful participation in sponsorship communication.

  • Intermediate outcome 1.2 SCs, families and community people and partners staffs are aware on the important of their role and contribution in community development process and communication through orientation and interaction.

  • Intermediate outcome 1.3 SCs/families are participated through various children event and recreational activities and enhanced the knowledge and information of SCs, families and community groups on sponsorship and program activities.

  • Intermediate outcome1.4: Increased new caseload and manage caseload of Nepal.

 
 
What is child sponsorship?
  • Child sponsorship is a means of generating long-term and reliable income and support for Plan’s child-centred community development (CCCD) and rights-based programmes. It is the cornerstone on which the organisation was established and it remains the foundation from which Plan continues to operate today. Child sponsorship is Plan’s largest source of income and support and is a key enabler of everything Plan does.
  • बाल प्रायोजन योजनाको बाल(केन्द्रित सामुदायिक विकास (CCCD) र अधिकारमा आधारित कार्यक्रमहरूको लागि दीर्घकालीन र भरपर्दो आम्दानी र समर्थन उत्पन्न गर्ने माध्यम हो। यो संगठनको स्थापना भएको आधारशिला हो र यो आधार हो जसबाट योजना आज सञ्चालन जारी छ। बाल प्रायोजन योजनाको आम्दानी र समर्थनको सबैभन्दा ठूलो स्रोत हो र योजनाले गर्ने सबै कुराको मुख्य सक्षमकर्ता हो।
 
  • Through child sponsorship, a Sponsor has the opportunity to support the world’s most vulnerable children. Sponsored Children are chosen as ambassadors by their communities. They come from the most vulnerable families and therefore it is vital that Plan’s programmes target and benefit them through community-based development solutions in which they and their families can participate. The income generated from child sponsorship enables CCCD programming in the Sponsored Child’s community.
  • बाल प्रायोजन मार्फत, एक प्रायोजकसँग संसारको सबैभन्दा कमजोर बालबालिकालाई सहयोग गर्ने अवसर छ। प्रायोजित बालबालिकाहरूलाई उनीहरूको समुदायद्वारा राजदूतको रूपमा छनोट गरिन्छ। तिनीहरू सबैभन्दा कमजोर परिवारहरूबाट आउँछन् र त्यसैले यो महत्त्वपूर्ण छ कि योजनाका कार्यक्रमहरूले उनीहरू र उनीहरूका परिवारहरूले भाग लिन सक्ने समुदाय(आधारित विकास समाधानहरू मार्फत उनीहरूलाई लक्षित र लाभान्वित गर्नु महत्त्वपूर्ण छ। बाल प्रायोजनबाट उत्पन्न आम्दानीले प्रायोजित बालबालिकाको समुदायमा CCCD प्रोग्रामिङ सक्षम बनाउँछ।
