A. Sponshorship Communication
Project summary:
Sponsorship program supported by Plan International Nepal. Child sponsorship is a means of generating long-term and reliable income and support for Plan’s child-centered community development (CCCD) and rights-based programs. It is the cornerstone on which the organization was established and it remains the foundation from which Plan continues to operate today. Through child sponsorship, a Sponsor has the opportunity to support the world’s most vulnerable children. Sponsored Children are chosen as ambassadors by their communities. They come from the most vulnerable families and therefore it is vital that Plan’s programs target and benefit them through community-based development solutions in which they and their families can participate. The income generated from child sponsorship enables CCCD programing in the Sponsored Child’s community. The sponsorship program is running in 5 palika’s of Dhanusha district namely Kamala, Sabaila, Sahidnagar and Bideha municipality and Janaknandini rural municipality.
